As Lila walked, she encountered a grumpy old owl perched on a branch. “Whoo are you?” he huffed.
“I’m Lila! I’m off to the Land of Giggles to bring back laughter!” she replied enthusiastically.
The owl raised an eyebrow. “Giggles? Hmph. Good luck finding them,” he scoffed. But Lila, undeterred by his grumpiness, gave him a big smile. “You should come with me! You might find your giggle along the way!”
The old owl chuckled, surprising himself. “Alright, little one. I’ll join you.”
With the owl flapping beside her, Lila continued on her journey. Next, they met a sad rabbit named Benny, who sat alone, his ears drooping. “What’s wrong?” Lila asked.
“I lost my favorite carrot, and now I can’t find it,” Benny sighed.
Lila thought for a moment. “Let’s make a game out of it! We can hop around and search together. Who knows, we might even discover some giggles along the way!”
Benny perked up, and with Lila leading the way, they hopped through the meadow, laughing and searching. To their delight, they found Benny’s carrot hidden beneath a patch of daisies! The rabbit couldn’t help but giggle with joy.
Feeling inspired, Lila, the owl, and Benny continued their journey, gathering friends along the way: a shy turtle named Tilly, who was convinced she could never laugh, and a curious fox named Felix, who had never heard a giggle.
